There are some forging process problems in the traditional process of cylinder block forgings, so there are ways to improve these process problems. Therefore, we mainly share some problems existing in the traditional process of cylinder block forgings and their improvement methods.
In the free forging and production of hydraulic press, when forging cylinder block forgings, it is customary to adopt the sealing head taping process. When the sealing diameter is less than 230mm, the whole cylinder block is often scrapped due to inconsistent sealing. Therefore, forging cylinder block forgings with step holes successfully solves the problem of sealing head taping of cylinder block forgings.
Problems in traditional forging process of cylinder block:
In the traditional process, the process is secondary fire drawing and blanking, the second fire drawing and punching, the third fire mandrel drawing, and the fourth fire mandrel pressure platform drawing. The process that is most likely to cause problems in forging cylinder block is the fourth mandrel drawing process. When+430mill mandrel is used for EI stretching, the cylinder block forging is scrapped because the folding crack exceeds the diameter of the sealing hole and cannot be sealed.
Process improvement of cylinder block forgings:
In order to solve the problem of inconsistent sealing head of cylinder, the secondary punching process of blank was worked out. The key to process improvement is the second fire. After the blank height reaches 1250mm, punch a hole with a diameter of d~450mill, make its small head punch a blind hole below, then continue to punch the blind hole on the 350mm punching pad, punch the blank blind hole to a depth of 900, and keep the thickness of the bottom of the blank 350mm., Turn over the blank, use a special long punch of 175 hours to punch into the bottom of the blank, and input 450 blanks. For the third fire, use a 430mm mandrel to stretch, punch 175m/n from the end of the mandrel, that is, punch 175m/n from the bottom of the blank, press 175m/n at the hole end, and press 175m/n at the hole end evenly to the shoulder of the mandrel.
