Precision forging forming technology (net forming) refers to the forming technology of forging forming layer of parts, which can meet the requirements of parts with only a small amount of processing or no more processing. Precision forging forming technology is an important part of manufacturing technology, and it is also widely used in automobile, mining, energy, construction, aviation, aerospace, weapons and other industries. The precision forging forming technology not only saves materials and energy, reduces processing technology and equipment, but also significantly improves productivity and product quality, reduces production costs, and thus improves the market competitiveness of products.
At present, it has been applied to the production of many precision forging processes. According to different forming temperatures, it can be divided into hot precision forging, cold precision forging, warm precision forging, composite precision forging, isothermal precision forging, etc.
1. Hot precision forging process? The precision forging process with forging temperature higher than recrystallization temperature is called hot precision forging. The hot precision forging material has low deformation resistance, good plasticity and is easy to form die forging. However, because of the complexity of the surface of the strong precision forging workpiece, it is easy to form.
2. Cold precision forging process Cold precision forging process is a precision forging process at room temperature. The cold precision forging process has the following characteristics: it is easy to control the shape and size of the workpiece and avoid the error caused by high temperature; The workpiece has high strength and precision, and good surface quality. The cold forging process is characterized by poor plasticity of the workpiece, large deformation resistance, and the need for molds and equipment. It is difficult to form parts with complex structures.
3. Warm precision forging process Warm precision forging process is a precision forging process conducted at the appropriate temperature under the recrystallization temperature. Warm forging precision forming technology not only breaks through the limitations of large deformation resistance and less complex part shape in cold forging, but also needs to increase intermediate heat treatment and surface treatment steps, and overcomes the problems of reducing surface quality and dimensional accuracy due to strong oxidation in hot forging. It also has the advantages of cold forging and hot forging, and overcomes the disadvantages of both.
4. With the increasing complexity of precision forging workpiece and the improvement of precision requirements, the simple cold forging process can not meet the requirements. The composite precision forging process stitches the cold, warm and hot forging processes together to complete the workpiece forging, which can give full play to the advantages of cold, warm and hot forging and discard the disadvantages of cold, warm and hot forging.
5. Isothermal precision forging process Isothermal precision forging process refers to the forming of billets at constant temperature. Isothermal die forging is commonly used for precision forming of hard deformation materials in aerospace industry, such as titanium alloy, aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, etc. In recent years, it is also used for precision forming of nonferrous metals in automobile and machinery industries. Isothermal forging is mainly used for forging metal materials with narrow temperature, especially titanium alloys which are very sensitive to deformation temperature.
① Production of precision die forgings, precision die forgings finishing finished products.
② The production of precision die forgings, the main part of precision forgings, saves cutting processing, and some parts still need a small amount of cutting processing.
