Production requirements of aluminum alloy gear forgings
1. The allowance specification of gear forgings shall comply with relevant standards.
2. During the production process of gear forgings, reasonable forging proportion shall be ensured, and round steel with similar specifications shall not be used for forging.
3. It cannot be forged with steel billet.
4. The material of gear forgings shall be the same as that of parts, and the chemical composition added shall comply with relevant addition standards. A bill of materials shall also be issued.
5. Ensure that the temperature is appropriate to avoid low temperature forging or overheating.
6. The appearance shall be neat and even, without folding, breaking and other defects.
7. The forgings shall be subject to ultrasonic flaw detection, and the gear type shall not be greater than φ 3 equivalent, others cannot be greater than φ 4 equivalent, subject to the flaw detection report.
8. Normalize after forging.
9. Write the part number on the forging with paint.
