1. Cold precision forging directly forges unheated metal materials, mainly including cold extrusion and cold head extrusion. Cold precision forging technology is more suitable for a variety of small batch production, mainly used to manufacture automobiles. Various parts and some tooth shaped parts of motorcycle.
2. Hot precision forging mainly refers to precision forging forming process above recrystallization temperature. Closed die forging is often used in hot precision forging process, which requires high precision of die and equipment. During forging, the volume of the blank must be strictly controlled, otherwise greater pressure will be generated in the die. Therefore, when designing the closed die forging die, the principle of shunting and depressurization is usually used to solve this problem. At present, most straight bevel gears used in trucks in China are produced in this way.
3. Temperature forging forming is a precision forging forming process conducted at an appropriate temperature below the recrystallization temperature. But the forging temperature of temperature forging is narrow. The mechanics of die materials and die itself are highly required, and special high-precision forging equipment is usually required. The temperature forging process is generally more suitable for large-scale production, forging medium yield strength materials.
4. Composite forming mainly combines cold, warm and hot forging processes to learn from each other and achieve the desired effect. Composite forming is a standard forging method for various high-strength components such as gears and pipe joints.
5. Closed die forging is a forming process of precision forging without flash by extruding metal in a closed die with one or two punches through one-way or two-way compound action. It is mainly used to produce bevel gears, automotive constant velocity universal joint star sleeves, pipe joints, cross shafts, bevel gears and other products.
6. Isothermal forging refers to die forging of billets at constant temperature. Used for deformation temperature sensitivity. Titanium alloy, aluminum alloy, thin web, high rib and other difficult shaped metal materials and parts.
7. Split flow forging is to establish a material split cavity or channel in the blank or die forming part to fill the material. Split flow forging is mainly used for cold forging process of spur gear and spiral gear.
