How to improve the structure and properties of ring forging raw materials
1. Break the columnar crystal, improve the macro segregation, transform the casting structure into the forging structure, weld the internal gap under appropriate temperature and stress conditions, and improve the material density;
2. The ingot is forged to form the fiber structure, and further through rolling, extrusion and die forging, the forging is reasonably distributed in the fiber direction;
3. Control the grain size and uniformity;
4. Improve the distribution of the second phase (such as alloy carbide in ledeburite steel);
5. Deformation strengthening or phase transformation strengthening.
